Jackfruit payasam recipe
Quick South Indian traditional dessert recipe.

Jackfruit payasam
Prep time : 10 mins Cooking time: 15 minutes
Ingredients :
2 tablespoon desi ghee
10-12 raisins
1 - 2 tablespoon finely chopped coconut bits
1 cup thick coconut milk and 1/2 cup thin coconut milk
Instructions:
Take a heavy bottom kadai, add 1 tablespoon ghee and add 100gm of Nargunam jackfruit halwa. Let it heat up.
Now add 3/4 cup of coconut milk. Simmer on a low to medium flame till the mixture thickens.
Reduce flame to low and add 1 cup thick coconut milk. Mix well and switch off flame.
Heat 1 tablespoon ghee in a small pan add the coconut bits fry till golden brown. Now add the raisins. Add this content in the payasam.
Serve and Enjoy the jackfruit payasam when it is warm.
